Local notification on webpage update in webview that runs in background - Android -

i using gcm send notifications web server android app, want stop using gcm , examine local notification idea instead.

my app has webview , idea webview somehow run in bg , when web page in webview updated, webview wake , generate local notification on device. way, don't have send notifications. need update page server , user local notification.

is there way that? how? knows tutorial or example that?

javascript - Wordpress slider, not displayed 100% width -

so im making first wordpress theme scratch going fine got problem. want slider on homepage 1 thing wrong. im setting width of image 100% !important doesnt go 100% width. makes image wider not 100%. example here: http://bit.ly/11ouebg see image doesnt contain whole width. can see background-color. really weird, im using meteor slides. i hope can me out :d
